A two-foot-long, three-deck exploration starship with a complete playable interior, four movable engines, laboratories, crew facilities, cryogenic chambers, and a rear cargo bay.
The Chimera Pathfinder is 2nd Dynasty’s dedicated deep-space exploration vessel, custom printed at full 28mm scale for tabletop roleplaying games, skirmish games, wargames, and display.
Pathfinder is smaller and more focused than the standard Starship Chimera but remains an enormous tabletop project in its own right. At more than 60 centimetres, or two feet, long, it contains approximately 260 printed components distributed across three complete modular decks.
The ship is designed to serve as a science vessel, expeditionary transport, survey ship, independent adventuring craft, research platform, courier, bounty-hunter base, or complete tabletop encounter location.

Three Playable Decks
Lower Deck
The lower deck contains the ship’s data core, cryogenic chambers or low berths, rearward cargo bay, and cargo airlock. It provides storage, recovery, emergency-suspension, and technical spaces for extended operations away from established facilities.
The lower deck includes the data core, cryogenic chambers, cargo bay, and cargo airlock.
Main Deck
The principal operating level contains the bridge, science and medical bay, workshop, docking airlock, and galley. This deck gives the Pathfinder the facilities needed to investigate unknown environments, treat casualties, repair equipment, analyze discoveries, and support a crew during prolonged missions.
The main deck contains the bridge, science and medical facilities, workshop, docking airlock, and galley.
Upper Deck
The upper deck contains crew living quarters, access passages, and air-handling spaces. It separates the private and environmental-support areas from the ship’s principal work and cargo decks.
The upper deck provides crew accommodation and environmental-support spaces.
Built for Exploration and Adventure
The Pathfinder is large enough to function as a persistent campaign location while remaining more manageable than the full standard Chimera. Its combination of laboratories, medical facilities, workshop, cargo space, crew accommodation, cryogenic systems, and multiple airlocks supports an unusually broad range of missions.
It can serve as the party’s primary vessel, a scientific expedition ship, a salvage and survey craft, a covert research platform, or the setting for boarding actions, medical emergencies, equipment failures, alien discoveries, and encounters involving whatever the crew should not have brought back aboard.
The separate deck sections provide access to the complete interior during tabletop play.
Optional Pathfinder Upgrades

Printing and Production
This model is custom printed to order in PLA plastic using licensed 2nd Dynasty design files. Components are printed slowly at approximately 0.12–0.16mm layer height, depending upon the size and requirements of the individual part.
The Pathfinder is a major production project using approximately four kilograms of filament and containing roughly 260 printed components. Please allow approximately 4–7 weeks for printing, inspection, organization, packing, and shipment. Production time may vary according to selected upgrades and the current printing queue.
Important Information About 3D-Printed Models
Layer lines, support-contact marks, minor surface texture, and small cosmetic variations are normal characteristics of FDM 3D printing and are not defects. Some preparation may be required before assembly and painting.
PLA models should be stored indoors and protected from excessive heat and prolonged direct sunlight. This product contains small components and is intended for hobbyists age 14 and older.
