The Transport Delta 1700-Series is 2nd Dynasty’s extensively redesigned version of its classic tabletop freighter. It preserves the broad silhouette and high-speed transport role of the original Delta while replacing approximately 95 percent of the earlier components with more detailed, print-friendly parts.
Designed for science-fiction roleplaying games, skirmish games, wargames, and display, the Delta can serve as a smuggler’s ship, armed freighter, private transport, military courier, cargo vessel, patrol craft, or complete tabletop adventure location.
This listing is specifically for the modernized 1700-Series. It is separate from both the original 2019 Transport Delta and the larger two-deck Transport Delta 2400-Series.

A Complete Tabletop Starship
The Delta 1700-Series is fully detailed inside and out and designed for use with approximately 25mm, 28mm, 30mm, 32mm, and 35mm miniatures.

The 1700-Series Redesign
The 1700-Series is not merely a repackaging of the original Transport Delta. Nearly every major component was revised for improved detail, strength, assembly, printing, and tabletop use.
- The complete interior was redesigned with new support-free components;
- The forward cargo bays received new grated interior floors;
- The cockpit neck was reinforced with additional connection points;
- Channels were added for optional 6mm metal reinforcement rods;
- The ventral hull received a standard turret port and airlock hatch;
- The side turret design was updated;
- The rear ramp and ramp housing were redesigned;
- The engines became modular and no longer need to be removed when opening the hull; and
- Basic lighting support was incorporated into the engine assemblies.
The standard deck arrangement includes cockpit, habitation, cargo, engineering, and concealed storage areas.

Base Ship:
The standard 1700-Series with forward cockpit, twin engines, cargo bay, engineering section, living area, ramp, airlocks, shield generator, and standard defensive turret.

Upper Cockpit Variant:
Moves the cockpit to an elevated position, opening the forward section for additional cargo space and docking access.

Saucer Variant:
Reworks the hull into a more circular profile with the cockpit positioned on its own upper level.

Asymmetric Variant:
Moves the cockpit to the side and substantially changes the ship’s silhouette.

Big Gun Variant:
Adds the heavy barbette-style weapon mounting structure. The exact weapon shown in some designer images may require a separate turret pack.

Gunship Variant:
Replaces the stock single turret position with four turret points for an extensively armed patrol or combat configuration.

Upper Deck Variant:
Adds a small elevated cabin and dorsal mounting position suitable for a turret, sensor, or airlock ring.

Long Transport Variant:
Extends the hull with additional sections to create a substantially longer cargo or passenger vessel.
Important information about 1700-Series variants:
The original variant packages do not contain completed 1700-Series interior layouts. Canvas Temple constructs the interior from the redesigned base tiles. The resulting interior will be functional and complete but may differ from older designer renders.
More elaborate combinations, double hulls, repeated Long Transport extensions, mixed variants, or additional Delta accessories require prior approval and separate pricing.
Redesigned engines, airlocks, cargo areas, and rear ramp improve both assembly and tabletop access.
What You Will Receive

Miniatures, paint, tools, glue, metal reinforcement rods, batteries, LEDs, wiring, switches, and other lighting equipment are not included. Filament color may vary because the model is intended to be prepared and painted by the purchaser.

Upper Cockpit
Relocates the cockpit above the main hull and opens the forward section for cargo or docking.
Saucer
Creates a circular hull profile with a raised cockpit level.
Asymmetric
Moves the cockpit to the side for a dramatically altered freighter silhouette.
Big Gun
Adds a heavy dorsal barbette mounting for a capital-scale weapon configuration.
Gunship
Replaces the standard turret position with four weapon stations.
Upper Deck
Adds an elevated cabin and a dorsal equipment, turret, or docking position.
Long Transport
Extends the main hull to provide substantially greater cargo, passenger, or mission space.
Configuration images are designer renders supplied by 2nd Dynasty. Finished physical models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Printing and Production
This model is custom printed to order in PLA plastic using licensed 2nd Dynasty design files. Components are printed slowly at approximately 0.12mm layer height to produce a detailed and durable gaming model.
The Transport Delta 1700-Series is a large project containing more than 130 components. Please allow approximately 3–5 weeks for printing, inspection, organization, packing, and shipment. Production time may vary according to the selected configuration and the current printing queue.
Important Information About 3D-Printed Models
Layer lines, support-contact marks, minor surface texture, and small cosmetic variations are normal characteristics of FDM 3D printing and are not defects. Some preparation may be required before assembly and painting.
PLA models should be stored indoors and protected from excessive heat and prolonged direct sunlight. This product contains small components and is intended for hobbyists age 14 and older.
