A massive 28mm-scale fast transport with a complete playable interior, expanded cargo capacity, crew accommodations, and multiple mission configurations.
The Beta Centauri is 2nd Dynasty’s transport-oriented
evolution of the Scout Ship Beta. It retains the distinctive long-hulled profile
and removable modular construction of the original vessel while replacing its
interior systems, machinery, engines, and functional layout with a new design
intended for exploration, transport, courier work, and extended independent operations.
At more than two feet long in full 28mm scale, the Beta Centauri is not merely a
vehicle model. It is a complete tabletop gaming environment. Remove the exterior
hull sections and move play directly into the bridge, crew spaces, engineering
areas, air-raft garage, cargo bay, and upper deck.

A Fast Transport Built for Tabletop Play
The Beta Centauri uses the proven Scout Ship Beta chassis but substantially changes
the vessel’s purpose and internal arrangement.
- More than two feet long at full 28mm scale;
- Suitable for approximately 25mm, 28mm, and 32mm miniatures;
- Fully modeled exterior and playable modular interior;
- Removable hull sections provide access during play;
- Slightly lengthened forward neck;
- Expanded bridge and crew facilities;
- Upper crew deck;
- Dedicated air-raft garage;
- Substantially enlarged cargo bay;
- Convenient side airlock;
- Revised engines, machinery, and interior systems;
- Two hardpoints capable of accepting compatible turret designs; and
- Multiple optional mission configurations.
The Beta Centauri combines a long-range hull with additional crew, transport,
and mission capacity.
Complete Playable Interior
The removable exterior reveals a detailed interior intended for roleplaying,
boarding actions, skirmish games, exploration scenarios, and shipboard encounters.
The standard vessel is configured as a fast transport rather than a dedicated
warship. It is supplied without permanent main armament, although the hull includes
two compatible turret hardpoints that experienced hobbyists may equip as desired.
The removable upper hull reveals the bridge, crew areas, machinery spaces,
cargo facilities, and other playable compartments.

Assembly Guide and Designer Information
Printing and Production
This model is custom printed to order in PLA plastic using licensed 2nd Dynasty
design files. Components are printed slowly at approximately 0.12mm layer height
to produce a detailed and durable gaming model.
The Beta Centauri is a substantial project containing a large number of individual
components. Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for printing,
inspection, packing, and shipment. Production time may vary according to the chosen
configuration and the current printing queue.
Important Information About 3D-Printed Models
Layer lines, support-contact marks, minor surface texture, and small cosmetic
variations are normal characteristics of FDM 3D printing and are not defects.
Some preparation may be required before painting and assembly.
PLA models should be stored indoors and protected from excessive heat and prolonged
direct sunlight. This product contains small components and is intended for hobbyists
age 14 and older.
