The classic Shuttle Alpha, rebuilt with sharper detail, an improved interior, and updated tabletop functionality.
The Shuttle Alpha MKIIIB is the refined version of 2nd Dynasty’s
original 28mm modular spacecraft. It preserves the familiar aerodynamic hull and
articulated VTOL-engine arrangement of the classic Shuttle Alpha while substantially
improving the model’s surface detail, interior, ramp, landing gear, and printability.
Approximately 13 inches long at full 28mm scale, the MKIIIB works as a dropship,
cargo shuttle, patrol vessel, personal starship, or complete tabletop encounter location.
Remove the exterior sections and move play directly into the fully modeled interior.
The MKIIIB should not be confused with the Shuttle Alpha MKIV. The MKIV is a separate
redesign with a different nose, fixed engines, and a new overall profile. The MKIIIB
retains the classic Shuttle Alpha appearance while bringing the original design up to
a much higher level of fidelity.

These images illustrate the seven configurations available for the Shuttle Alpha platform.
Every configuration sold here includes the complete MKIIIB base ship.
Some original designer graphics describe the illustrated parts as upgrades or state
that a base ship is required. That language applies to the separately sold digital
files, not to the complete physical models offered by Canvas Temple.
Bus Variant
A lengthened hull offering additional interior space.
Missile Variant
Concealed internal missile racks with vertical launch ports.
Gun Turret Variant
Adds a dorsal weapon turret above the rear hull.
Winged Variant
Articulated winged engine assemblies create a broader atmospheric profile.
Twin Engine Variant
Multiple smaller engines replace the standard VTOL units.
Warp Engine Variant
Paired warp nacelles create a classic deep-space shuttle configuration.

Printing and Production
This model is custom printed to order in PLA plastic using licensed 2nd Dynasty
design files. Components are printed slowly at approximately 0.12mm layer height
to produce a detailed and durable gaming model.
Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for printing, inspection,
packing, and shipment. Production time may vary according to the selected
configuration and the current printing queue.
Important Information About 3D-Printed Models
Layer lines, support-contact marks, minor surface texture, and small cosmetic
variations are normal characteristics of FDM 3D printing and are not defects.
Some preparation may be required before assembly and painting.
PLA models should be stored indoors and protected from excessive heat and prolonged
direct sunlight. This product contains small components and is intended for
hobbyists age 14 and older.
