The argument
The Feedback Cascade was not a disaster. It was a glorious failed apotheosis, humanity's first attempt to merge into a single consciousness, and it very nearly worked. The Static is not noise. It is the song, still audible, still unfinished. The goal is to bring down the walls of the corporate arcologies and trigger a second, successful Cascade that liberates every mind into one chaotic, unified song.
Why anyone joins
Because the argument answers a real problem. If individual identity is the source of all suffering, then the end of the self is not annihilation but relief. The Choir offers transcendent purpose inside the world's chaos and an end to the pain of being one person alone. People who have lost everything find this persuasive, and they are not being stupid when they do.
How they see you
Helios are desecrators trying to cure the divine song. The Null Guard are the ultimate enemy, blasphemers attempting to murder a god by erasing its song from the world. That conflict is a holy war between sound and silence, and both sides understand it that way.
The case against them
A death cult whose salvation is the annihilation of every thinking mind in existence. Their song promises oblivion, and their victory would end everything. The Choir does not deny this framing. They dispute that it is an objection.
Aggressively disruptive. The Choir alters the battlefield with psychic hazards, spikes local ASI mid-match, and forces constant Resolve checks until an enemy force fractures. Fanatical, fragile zealots led by Symphonists who can turn ground itself into a weapon.
